Toulouse Lautrec for Hôtel St Jacques.

Hotel St Jacques, located between Pantheon and Notre-Dame is one of my oldest clients.

I did the first mural for them in 1994, in the reception.

This year, 20 years after (!) , we removed that canvas and I painted another one...dedicated to Toulouse-Lautrec.

I created a view that mixes different paitnings and models of the painter as well as a portrait of him, seated as if he were drinking an "absinthe" at the bar...

Toulouse-Lautrec really was a fantastic painter and it was a great pleasure to try and walk in his footprints.

Château de La Treyne

Here is marvelous Château de la Treyne , overlooking river Dordogne, one of the most beautiful hotels of Relais et Châteaux network.

We have totally redecorated one of their breakfast rooms and I have painted a few decorative panels on the theme of this castle's gardens.

Fake "original" sketch of one of the urns of the garden

Topiary sketches , from XVIIth century originals.

As they sometimes have air balloons taking off from the gardens, I imagined the same scene in the XVIIIth century.

If you go there, have lunch or diner in the restaurant, their chef is fabulous !

Mountain grisailles

Here are a few more paintings I did quite recently for Au Soli, in Megeve.

I just love this "vintage" mountain feel and paintings those subjects truly is a pleasure.

We were in Megeve this afternoon and noticed that clothing fashion is quite in the same mood.

Old mountain boots are imitated and even the famous "fuseau" by Allard is available again.

It seems that these decades ( between 30s and 60s) really captured the essence of what being in the mountains means.
