Maison et Objet . January 2012 Collection

Here is my booth and collection of previous  Maison et Objet  (this year in January).
I am so busy this Fall that I had to cancel my participation to the show. I am glad to be working on a fabulous project right now and I will certainly not complain  but I am also a little sad since I will not have the pleasure of seeing my clients and of sharing a new collection with them and with new people from all over the world .

I particularly enjoy the creative process of imagining a new collection and finding ways to present it.

I will be back on the show at Scéne sd'Intérieur in January …I already have ideas for the first 2013 collection.

I hope you will enjoy this series of pictures.

  1. beautiful, as always. I particularly like the hands. I often photograph hands in paintings when I visit museums. I love the way you chose to display that one rolled up like a cone!

  2. I always love seeing the way you display your work. I also, love the "main au compas". It is my favorite! Your color palette is always so soft and your work takes us to an older place in time.

  3. Thank you Lynne and Theresa , I do appreciate your comments. The canvases that I rolled up and put on the floor as if they were not really part of the show often trigger the curiosity of the true amateurs. I had a singerie a couple of years ago that I showed on the wall ; I had very little success with it. I brought it back a year after but I had put it down from its frame , rolled up and put down on the floor. I sold it and had several orders for the same type of painting. It definitely creates an attraction or a fresher view on a piece , I think it adds , for the buyer, the pleasure of having found like a "little treasure" forgotten in a corner of the painter's studio or something like this. I have a bunch of canvases like this on a wall of my studio and I like them too, there is an additional charm to them even for me.

  4. Before writing this response I had changed all the pictures because they all looked too green to me, they are better now but still a little greenish , I guess I will correct them again…
